LOVE ADDICT :: 愛してるぜ

So I'm sitting here at work, on my morning break eating Funyuns, and probably annoying my co-worker in the cubicle next to me, but whatever~ Earlier this morning, I was listening to the fourth and final BLCD in the Hakushaku-sama series, Hakushaku-sama wa Miwaku no Honey ga Osuki, and boy was it good. I'm so sad the series had to end, but the ending was so sweet, I forgive the author for not writing more :P



If you've never heard of the novel-turned-BLCD series before, it's basically about a young human male named Akira (CV: Toriumi Kousuke <3) who inherited a small housing tenement somewhere in Japan's countryside after his grandfather passed away. What he didn't know was that the complex was home to many supernatural beings and that they've been living peacefully there under his grandpa's ownership. While taking care of the place, he eventually meets a handsome vampire from England named Edward (nicknamed Eddie, CV: Sugita Tomokazu <3) who originally pursued him to feed upon, but they eventually fell in love :3

In this final volume, Akira finally agrees to become a vampire in order to live eternally with Eddie as his "darling"~ The one thing I loved about this CD (apart from the fact that it was absolutely AMAZING xD), was that you get to see what Akira has to go through once he becomes a vampire, which includes remembering his love for Eddie (when he became a vampire he lost all of his memories as a human and had to remember them bit by bit), feeding on Eddie's blood for the first time (that was pretty hot, haha) and consummating their partnership as vampires for the first time (which was pretty much, "AHHH, I really want to do him right now! >w<" lol!)

Basically, if you have the time and you like BLCDs, do listen to this amazing series, haha, Toricchi and Sugitan do a WONDERFUL job on this (Koyasu Takehito, Itou Kentarou and Midorikawa Hikaru are in this as well, if you like them, hehe) and they make the best couple ever~ Now, my morning break is almost up, so I better hop off right about now, haha >3<

ヘロ皆さん！Today's post isn't going to be anything otome or fujoshi-related (sorry! >3<), but I had a really fun time with my brother this evening, haha~ To commemorate this day, I give you a really boring picture of the Cup Noodle he ate and left behind in my room when he wasn't supposed to orz



Anyway, today, my brother and I were playing The Sims 3 together. After we stopped playing because I needed to do some chores, I came back (after not doing them, lol) and we randomly started typing in English female first names into Google Images, haha! When you start typing stuff into Google nowadays, it will come up with stuff that have the same letters in it, to hopefully help you find what you're looking for faster~

Example! When you type in "Pam", the first last name provided is "Anderson", for you-know-who, lol~ Eventually we had developed this game where we took turns typing in a name, picking a random last name and discovering if the girl we found was young and attractive or old and wrinkley, haha :D

After playing around with that, I came up with an idea for a similar game: Why not type in Japanese female first names, choose a last name, and see what the chances are that you get a popular gravure idol? HAHA! In actually, it's REALLY difficult DX You can imagine that we'd get a lot more anime and video game characters than actual idols, but when we found finally found them, it just made us want to play a whole lot more, lol <3

Phew, I really want to play again but my brother has gone to sleep already, haha~ I need to hurry up and get to bed because I have work tomorrow *sad face* Talk to you later! :3

皆さんこんにちは！So it's getting to be Saturday evening and I was just now setting up a three-player household for me and my brothers today once one of them gets out of the shower~ Does anybody else play The Sims 3? It's such a fun game, though I don't get to play it enough to finish an entire generation xD



In this current household, I tried to make someone similar to Ludwig II, but of course they don't have enough customization options yet to make it look anything like him >3< Still, I tried to make someone with a personality similar to his, and his lifetime goal is to be the boyfriend of 10 other sims, haha! Ah Your Majesty, how I love your "frequent sexual encounters" with other men, lol <3

The other day, I went looking around for the answer to a very important question (well, for me anyway, haha)... HOW DO I MAKE A MALE SIM WEAR THE WOMEN'S MAID UNIFORM? lol, have I told you I have a newfound obsession with maidboys? I absolutely love them and must find more art with them, grr.

Anyway, my brother is out now, so back to The Sims 3!

Ahhh, how it thrills me to discover something new and exciting every day, and yesterday, it was the beautifully written and illustrated yaoi manga Ludwig II by Higuri You~



Ludwig II is an intricately written boys love manga based around the life of the Mad King of Bavaria, Ludwig II. Higuri You did an amazing job depicting his life from the eyes of a childish, yet bold and powerful dreamer, the flippant and decorative style with which he chose to run his country's military into mayhem and the passionate, untainted, somewhat chaotic love he had for the composer Wagner, the enchanting opera Lohengrin and the shy and innocent footman Richard Hornig, the only person willing to sacrifice his own happiness to protect Ludwig from the coming madness that has threatened to consume him. (Can you tell that I'm completely enamored by this manga? xD)

The actual manga was published back in 1996 (I was only 7 years old then, haha), but it's still winning the hearts of BL readers all over the world~ I'm usually not one for bittersweetness and angst in my yaoi manga (I'm a big patron of PWP, lol), but even I fell for this! Ludwig and Hornig make an absolutely delectable pair, Ludwig's naive fascination with his servant and Hornig's pure and steadfast loyalty to his king help them survive through many a tragic ordeal; poor Hornig, he is put through a lot of pain and suffering for His Majesty, but Ludwig never fails to heal the boy with his undying love.

Ahhh, I really want to read the second volume right now but it doesn't come out here until the end of September! I'm so sad, I've read and reread the first volume countless times after finishing it last night... Higuri-sensei, why must your works be so beautiful and intoxicating?! Huuu, I suppose I will go and wait like a good girl for now, but for any of you who haven't read it yet, go pick it up now! Or Ludwig will give you the honor of resting below the earth with one of the ancient treasures of Wittlesbach, the relics of Saint George~~~

EDIT: I just HAD to edit this post, but after I wrote all that stuff about Ludwig, I listened to a BLCD that came out today, Bara no Hitomi wa Bakudan, a compilation of three short stories with three seiyuu (Suzuki Tatsuhisa, Yusa Kouji and Maeno Tomoaki) shuffling to create different pairs for each SS. My favorite story is the second one, (Tatsu-chan x Yucchi), where Tatsu-chan's character suffers day to day wondering how many girls his boyfriend sleeps with every night. Eventually he gets fed up and decides to break up with Yucchi, but when he drops the bad news, Yucchi turns an unexpected 180 and begs Tatsu-chan not to throw him away. Cute and funny couple, haha.



The story that enchanted me the most was the third story, Maeno-kun x Tatsu-chan, a story about Tatsu-chan's character's fear of expressing his deepest feeling in words and the countless dreams he has of consuming his lover's body as food night after night. I think it affected me the most because the storytelling was very similar to Ludwig II (what a coincidence I read it just yesterday, lol) and like Ludwig, he often dreamed and dreamed and almost dreamed himself to ruin, but his honest and innocent lover would always be there to pull him back. Also, not sure if you know, but Suzuki Tatsuhisa is my favorite seiyuu ever and in the 3rd story, he played the role of an older character with a fairly low voice for the the first time ever!

Tatsu-chan is normally cast for young characters with a medium tone voice, with a bit of slyness and lots of attitude. This character was a refreshing change from his usual, in that he had to portray a character that lived his life in his mind, in his dreams, giving off that older, gentle, intelligent feel. I know he doesn't have much experience with this type of character, so his performance was inconsistent at some points, but it made my heart pound while listening to him, especially when his character gathers up the courage to tell his lover for the first time that he loves him, while in tears <3
